Peanut Butter Syrup

This is great served over pancakes but would also be a glorious ice cream topping. It is rich, creamy and decadent. I have always topped my pancakes with peanut butter and syrup but this sauce takes it up a few notches!

Peanut Butter Syrup

Yield: 1 cup

Prep: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes


3/4 cup pure maple syrup

1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter


  1. In a small saucepan over low heat mix maple syrup and peanut butter.

  2. Heat until warm and the sauce has thinned out.

  3. Enjoy!


*Make sure to use unsweetened peanut butter if you have it on hand as pure maple syrup is obviously already very sweet.
